SNAP (Sunday Neighborhood Activities Program) happens every Sunday from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. Children ages 6 to 12 experience love in a Christian environment through crafts, songs, stories, and other activities. The children participate in the life of the Church through events such as the Hanging of the Greens (decorating the Church at Christmas time) and weekly Fellowship Time.
Those new to our community and to the English language gather at Calvary Baptist Church on Tuesday evenings from 7:00 – 8:30 PM for conversation and instruction in English. These free “classes” are geared to the needs of the learners and encourage non-English speakers to become more comfortable with their new language.
Every Monday we serve a free hot lunch to those in need. Begun more than twenty years ago, the WELCOME Lunch (West End Lunch at Calvary on Monday Every week) offers nourishment and fellowship.
The Calvary Baptist Children’s Learning Center provides education in a caring environment for infants and children through Pre-Kindergarten. The CBCLC is open five days a week from 5:45 AM
to 6:00 PM. Enrichment programs include exercise through Fit Kidz, Music with Miss Debbie, and field trips. For more information, call
CBCLC at 610-277-0257.
